So I was playing around in the Avarex Hexer server with the .50 cal sniper and a combat knife.
By some sort of pure luck or predestination, I managed to capture the other teams flag. As I was fleeing towards my own base, a combination of grenades and a stray m79 shot managed to jam me inside a polygon, with the enemy flag.
Had our team been winning, I would have been content with staying there and letting the time run out. Unfortunately, we were losing and letting the full 10 min run down seemed quite boring. So I shouted out to my fellow soldaten (on both sides) that I was stuck. No one seemed to care until I stated that I had the flag. Even then, only one guy came looking, and he wasn't even on my team. So there I was a sitting duck, and the other guy happens only to have a Law to try to either 1) kill me, or 2) pop me back out. Too bad for him, my warmth was good enough to keep me alive while he kept reloading his Law.
Finally, I popped out and landed next to him. He had an automatic weapon and I had a sniper. I expected to die. But he didn't do anything, so I shot him and ran
. I guess he was expecting me to return the flag to him for the favor he did to me? Unfortunately for him, that wasn't the case. Still, it wasn't very long before I was killed by his other teammates.
