Has anyone else noticed that sometimes when you shoot the M79 that all of the sudden the guy youre shooting at jerks out of the way? Im not talking about average movement, I'm talking about people already using jetpacks teleport out of the way of an M79 grenade. Is this lag related or is it a glitch?

when the m79 hits him? if so, then its lag, it looks like it hit him but the explosion just boosts him away

Its caused by lag. You know those shots that dont kill. Thats what just happend ony they saw the explosion and you saw it pass by them without exploding.

1.4's actually helping. The shots missing isn't caused by it, but now it shows you where the enemy actually is.

A) No, same amount or less of lag misses, you just notice it 'cause of the jerking.
B) And...3 times more? Anyone can tell you pulled that 'fact' out of your ass.

Yeah its lag, course this helps alot. Instead of you hitting him on your screen and him already killing you on his you now have the information that he is lagging so quickly whip out your secondary and aim a little ahead of him and you just might still have your kill.

Well I know for a fact I don't lag, and I only ever play on low latency servers, and this has happened several times to me too, I get shot with an M79 and simply get boosted over the map, although its great when you're flag running.
