I never hated sims, I played em before and I kinda liked it.
I was just making a point that games like sims has more appeal on girls than dudes, again, that its just another unfair generalization.

Icebolt and Meep were also supposedly girls, but it turns out they were more of those guys pretending to be girls. I hate people who do that... that's why I'm apprehensive of any people who claim to be girls on the internet nowadays, with some exceptions. It's so easily faked it's not funny.

Males tend to be somewhat more violent, and therefore are more often drawn to games involving violence. It's mostly psychology when you get right down to it. Not to say that there aren't women with a thing for violence, but...

Wasnt there already a topic about female players in Soldat that got closed? Anyway, I would say that Soldat if "male dominated" to an extent. However, only to an extent. I would say around 90% of the people wh play are guys. There are some girls, but I would think they woud keep their identities hidden. I mean, in other games I see people come out and say theyre girls and then like all these guys will want to cyber with her or something ("private game after this?"). I can understand why girls keep their identities secret.

True, I agree with the majority and fact here:
More guys play Soldat than girls.

I would say that men usually have a bigger slanting towards violence being "pleasurable", for lack of a better word. When some guys get stressed, they come home and blow some heads off of other Soldatens.
What I've noticed about girls, they like talking about their problems more than releasing the the emotion "physically". The majority I know also think it's "gross" and the sort, but it's all good fun. Let's not get too psychology-esque.

I don't mind the male majority though, it even increases the competitive factor.
Otherwise, some smartasses might start trying to get girls numbers in Soldat...
