Did you watch his youtube vid?  If you hit someone just right from close enough they would easily die from that thing.

bloody oath they can be used as weapons! in my vid, im only using normal tennis balls, and they can cause a bit of damage with good compression in the chamber. in another vid i have, but not  yet on youtube, i shoot a 2.5in steel ball bearing thru a caravan, in one side and out the other :D

This mod is exceptional...but I must say that I'm intrigued at the design of the (uh...LAW replacement?) potato gun you got working in your Youtube vid you posted here. I see that it has two caps...what exactly is the purpose of the second cap? Bigger chamber for bigger thrust?

i could just go with the one cap but i use two T sections because they are stronger and thicker than a piece of PVC pipe. also it makes it easier to load, ammo in the forward cap, and fuel in the aft cap over the igniter. and yeah the bigger chamber does give it a bit more balls, but to get the best out of it i need a bigger barrel. i had to cut it to fit in the boot of my car :P

Also iv organized the clusta of files everywhere into a mod and RAR'ed it. just put it into Mods and run it thru the mod starter.

due to the great feed back with the mod, iv decided to go ahead and make a true full modification  out of this idea.

im going to convert some of the great spud guns from http://www.spudfiles.com/ into a full soldat mod.
new weapons, sparks, sounds and maps (maybe  ;))

i dont have much time tonight so i could only do one.
