This is an only default scenery/texture map. We think this is our best work yet. The torches were a great idea, and whe themed the map acording to it. We made it with 5 clouds, as shown on screen 3.
That tree is our mark, goes in every map of us.

looks cool, but delete a few grenade or medkit spawns

That tree doesn't fits with the map =/ Make it darker.

Nice look and I'm sure this works at game play... But there isn't a real design in this map... There are small polygon elements all over the map that means there are no real routes... That one is a question that everyone has own opinion, someone likes unrouted maps like this, someone doesn't. I hope u'll do a routed map next :), it needs more planning forehand. That's why Im thinking it's more challenging to do. But the main thing mappers do is to do maps for gameplay (no matter if there isn't real routes) that's a goal u've succeeded again :). I give u also bonus about the tree which was ur mark in ur maps, wasn't it?

It's really difficult to make a routed map with such Small space as x2 maps, without being boring (only up, down or middle). This map closes last of the 5 maps for x2 we have planed to do, soon we will do a mappack of them. This map was a quest of a past clan leader of mine, was supposed to "test abilities". That's why we tryed to make a different kind of gameplay, but the layout was horrible, and half of the people didn't like how the map was made. So we left that map stoped, until we saw the possibilities of the new default scenerys, so we decided to fix the old maps, and that's what we have been doing until now (ctf_x1 wasn't fixed).

And yes, the tree IS our mark. Can only be routed, NOTHING else can be done to it. No coloring, no shading, no transparency. Our first map, ctf_x1 has it, then we kinda liked it, and putted on our second map too (ctf_Jungle, but kinda fit the map), but then, on our third map, ctf_Uter, we decided to make it our mark (the tree don't fit the map, but once we started, we couldn't stop). And in this last map, the tree don't have nothing to do with the map AT ALL. And we don't care! LOL Now we are starting ctf x3 maps, and they will have that same little happy tree, no matter the theme of the map ;)
