I have seen the light.
« on: July 11, 2006, 09:08:52 am »
I've have been in total denial about my default browser.

I didn't want to jump into change.

But as I tried firefox, I have seen the light at the end of the tunnel.

IE has lately gotten me pissed off because it always made my comp freeze and made it slow (amd my lame amount of ram doesnt help the situation either).

It has gotten so bad to the point where my comp constantly dies on me.

DIES!!

So some firefox followers heard my emo comp situation. And so they said the only way my pathetic life will even be worthy of remembering is if that i convert to firefoxism.

I have been a long follower of internet explorer, but I was getting desperate for something new, something to make my life easier.

And so, I have tried firefox, and I like it, alot.

Its better, harder, faster, and stronger than shitty internet explorer. Though plugins take a while to get, I enjoy firefox alot.

So I tell other naive internet explorer users, come use firefox.

Internet explorer takes your inner child away.

I'm away.

I use Firefox, too, but there are sites I go to that require IE.

I'm stuck to Firefox, but I'm not happy about it.  It crashes occasionally when I open large media files and I can't trust it to stay open long enough without slowly draining all of my system's resources.

USEFUL AND IMPORTANT: Anyone who needs to use IE occasionally for certain things, such as Eagles_Arrows pointed out, there is an extension for Firefox that allows you to open any page in IE format, in case that need arises! In fact, here's the link. You never have to open IE again. :)

And btw, Firefox is teh best. The Noia Xtreme 2.0 Skin is secksy.

IE is the best because it is simply the easiest one to use.

Of course it's the easiest to use... if you've never tried any others.

Firefox is great. Try it.

One of my favourite features is not having to have each page open in a seperate window, so your taskbar stays nice n clean.  ;D

Thing is, IE now has tabs. Stupid stealing Bill Gates. No wonder he has so much money.

Haha.... my Dad told me some years back that Bill Gates supposedly stole the idea for Windows from the Operating system "RISC OS", which I used to use a lot before PCs became popular. It is VERY similar to windows, so I wouldn't be surprised.
