how to download maps off servers?

is there any way to download maps off servers. for e.g. in hexer servers they have custom made maps sometimes and i cant bge bothered w8ing for it to download so is there a program or sumthing like it to just download the map off their server.

or any1 noe any website that have the maps for enesce hexer n all that?

or trench war maps?

wait till its finished.. it takes like 1 minute.. it would be more of a hassle to go to a website and download the maps one at a time there then have to put them in ur maps folder

someone (EnEsCe?) made a program that lets you download maps from servers without joining the server.  It is a separate program, you don't use Soldat for it.  I don't know what the name is or where to find it, but someone can probably find it

The server port is the map download port, not the connection port; this is the connection port + 10, hence the default is 23083.

Then you enter the (case sensitive) filename of the map on the server, then for the path you put the path you want to save to, and the filename.

Example settings:

IP: 72.232.225.66
Port: 23083
Map to download: tw_windmill.PMS
Path to save to: C:\Soldat\tw_windmill.PMS
