Some are probably genuinely good people with some talent, but some are more lucky than not. There are so many people that had like 1-1.5 years of genuine fame from being talentede (Britney Spears, ok I don't remember the exact time) but soon people lose interest. Then they pretty much do attention grabbing stupid stuff like shaving their head or going to jail for drunk driving or something. Our society idolizes these people too much and generally approve of their actions, feeding their stupid, and then people try and copy them, creating stupid fads that are hated a year later. I personally don't like most; nobody's perfect but many are just attention hogs, especially the ones that have no appreciable talent, yet are famous (Paris Hilton)
