Some people would propably say that it need more shading but I think that it looks good as it is.

It's damn ugly. Shade it and colour it properly, so the scenery blends in with the terrain. This way, it's just eye-sore. Like you didn't put effort into it at all :\

I don't know much about mapping, but the polygons have little shape to them; looks really flat.

839 polygons and no shading or a substantial amount of use in every one of those polygons used.
