How to improve this one map.

I only have an overview, no downloads (Mappacker isn't working properly on this computer). Evenso, I'd like you to take a shot at how I can improve it. Polys, sceneries, shading. I like the layout, and it played well in-game. But that's just one opinion.

I'd add some kind of island or mountain or something in the middle of the map to prevent nutso spraying and sniping across the map.
also, the reason mappacker might not be working is that you may not have WinRAR installed on that computer.

You'd be surprised at how spray-effective those hanging crates are. Where should the fifth crate be if you don't want spraying in the middle?

Less gay texture? I don't see it being gay... But the cock place does need some corrections...
Presonally I would add a crate beside nade spawn in the middle...

The texture, if it's not marais, has a furry edge for those who have poly smoothening turned on. Plus it's too dark on most places, hence making the map look awfully queer.

I would add something in the middle besides those crates. The map looks empty and the crates doesn't match. The middle platform like in Cambodia in the middle would do well.

All right, let's see here:
I'll put col.bmps on those craggy parts of the cave background .bmps.
I'll put in the two tunnels, and put lighter shading in some places.
I tested and double-checked for polybugs.
As for your pointing out the two bottom most crates...

If you open the spawns with the tunnels, then the blockers aren't necessary. You don't see them on default DM maps, now do you, despite them having even better spawn-camp spots.

Here's my contribution.
Hanging crates are a nooby way of blocking spray, in my opinion. :-/
Also don't forget to add bonuses, bow, yellow flag, etc.

Those are all good contributions, but I fear that your redline sketches will, when once finished, will stray so far from the orginal sketch layout-wise.

Now the layout seems okay, get on pimping the looks.
Dark ground isn't all that pretty to look at if it's in the middle of your screen. Either change the texture so it suits the jungle better, or lay more polygons that you can colour for ground. Don't stretch sceneries if it's not necessary; fool around with various opacity values instead. The hanging lianas also seem random, check out lanubya, cambodia, bigfalls, etc. Place more crates and real objects on the ground also.
