Recently I was looking for a up to date second hand laptop for my school work and research at
www.trademe.co.nz the trading site for the country I live in. But the pc's there were like feck! Like this 1
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Computers/Laptops/Laptops/Other/auction-121293277.htm which was solded to a idiot for $91. For me its not even worth $91 since its soo old and slow and it doesn't write cd's and has a dead battery.
Also, New Zealanders are crap at pricing stuff.
Current bid: $240 Buy now price: $550
CPU Speed: 1.4 GHz
Memory: 240 MB
Hard drive: 20 GB
CD / DVD: CD + DVD reader
Acer travelmate 270 Model BY25
Windows XP Professional
Intel Pentium 4 processor
14.1" screen size
3 x USB ports
Excellent condition, almost like new except the card slot is missing from the right hand side. Not a big deal because if you want to insert a digital memory card you can buy a card reader on Trademe for as little as $1 and plug it into one of the USB ports.
The battery is holding a charge well.
Programs on board:
- Microsoft Office suite (Access, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Windows Media Player
- Windows 2000
- Canon Photo Record
- Realtek Sound Manager
- MSN Explorer
- Outlook Express
- Windows Messenger
plus heaps of games and music.
this would suit a student or home user perfectly.
WTF!!! WHATS THE POINT IN HAVING A WIN2K AND XP IN 1 COMPUTER?
