"Wind is the least expensive renewable technology we can develop on a large scale in Wisconsin."
What the hell do you want me to do? should I send you the books I got at the library?
The fact is that wind energy isn't nearly as expensive as you had said it was.
And as for preventative maintenace, that is just any maintenance needed to keep it from falling apart, like changing the oil in your car.
The key terms there were "in Wisconsin," and it's immediately followed by a chart where wind power is shown as being more expensive than something else, so I really don't know what they were talking about. And I never gave any amount, I just said it was "more expensive." Everything you've shown me pretty much supports that, indicating higher costs due to a small-scale adoption of wind power.
And how can they predict when maintenance will be necessary? How many studies have they done on it, and what do they have to show for it? It sounds like general conjecture to me, but maybe there's some figures on some portion of the site that I missed.
