changing the launch icon (and command prompt)

decided to make a new thread on this to be more specific

is there anyways to change the icon of your mod's launcher, if so , how?
and how do you get rid of the command prompt when you acces your installer?

no I mean the shortcut icon to launch a soldat mod that you make, I try to make ine in paint, but the backround is always black

I am assuming you made a .bat file that has this contents?:

soldat.exe -mod MODNAME

exit
Just add the exit to the last line of the file and it will close.

If you want an icon right-click the .bat file go to create shortcut and make a shortcut.

Then right-click on the shortcut and go to properties and select a new icon.

and when i create an icon the background is always black
how do i stop this?

Use an icon without a black background.

I do, its always white, and even when i do change the backround, it stays black
