guitar hero flying v guitar

i am a HUGE fan of guitar hero. and i thought i should make my first mod (if i make it) a guitar! i am thiking of the http://www.rocknrollvintage.com/prodimages/1981%20gibson%20flying%20v%20large.jpg guitar. but im i dont thing ill put the strings because i want to make the fret buttons (green, yellow, red, blue and orange). is it possible to make the colors the trigger on the guitar to shoot? and also i  will make red, orange yellow, green and blue versions  of it. i mean like green is a machine gun, red is like a law, blue is sniper yellow is sword and orange is the m79? is that a good idea or not? for the bullets i was thinking to shoot lightning like the guy does in the commercial for gh2 and differnt color lightning for each color guitar. or in team match like i just said b4 it can be like snipers on m79 on machine guns on laws. when i make an outline ill post it  when i get the time. please say if its a good idea and ways to improve it!

not the first such idea but it can be good for practice if you've never done any mods.
there doesn't have to be one guitar, make other models, practice the shape, color changing is an easy thing. for bullets you can put all you can imagine, really mess up with it. and check this topics of previous attempts:

There is no way possible unless code modding of the game to make the color gun you suggested.
