New mapping option: Regenerating speed of polygons

I think you all know regenerating polygons? And I think you know those regenerating polygons heal you very slow. But what if the regenerating speed could be changed (faster). Not that I know anything about coding, but I guess it's easy to code. It could work same way that jet fuel is set: Minimal, very slow, normal... and custom of course. I think mappers could  use that option to do more interesting maps.

Well this doesnt seem very necessary as health kits are available in most maps, it would probably cause people to just stand on a fast regenerating poly and camp, and if its quick enough they'll survive through most anything.

I think the hurt speed on hurting polys should be editable, that would add more possibility

While I greatly suport this, I know this will never be implemented. :(

Would need map format change. All the current maps would be unplayable. (unless there is a support for the current map format after the change)

Why not just increase the polygon regeneration by default? It's way too slow now, compared to the speed of guns killing. This way it wouldn't need a map format change, and us mappers could just use more regenerator polygons ( bet you didn't know that the middle of Cobra regenerates aswell, didya )!

As unlikely as it is to happen, I support it.  Further modibility has yet to prove a bad thing, as far as I know.
