download checkboxes (vague title, more info inside)

I kind of get sick of downloading scenery for a TW or CS map, is there a way to make a checkbox to NOT download scenery and one to not show scenery? to make dloading easier?

then it would make it unfair. like you could see a camper hiding behind a box etc.

No, you would get a bunch of black and white boxes where the sceneries should be. If you have ever had a scenery fail to download (for me; thousands) you would know that.

I think it would be kind of dumb because of how awful the map would look.

so wait for the download jeez. Not my fault you have awful internets. Or you could download them separately, that would be faster.

You either download them, or find a different server. Impatience does not warrant an unfair advantage.

I find it annoying that you have no idea wether there's three sceneries to download or 118. Couldn't that info be sent in the beginning? Hell even make the server-list progress bar show the downloading progress.

In Soldat 1.5.0 I have recoded the file download system, it will give information regarding how many files there are to download + percentage done etc.

YAY, That's  awesome idea, Will it have an ETC(estimated time of completion) or is that too much to ask for :D
I don't see why waiting another 4 minutes to play a game will hurt, it's only 4 minutes.
