First map >>> INF_tinymaze

Hello, guys, here's my first map ever I post. It's a tiny little map for Inflirtation mode. I hope you like it, but just keep in your mind - it's my first one.

OVERVIEW:


Complete Details:

Medikits: 10
Grenade packs: 1
Bot Support: No, but I need someone to work on it.
Map type: Inflirtation
Bonuses: Cluster Grenades (2), Bulletproof Vest (4)
Spawns points: Red (7), Blue (7).

I'm also working on bot support, but I'm noobish on that, so no quality guaranteed.

But if you want to work on it, then do work on it. Thanks.

Okay...

The size of the map would only allow for no more than four people. That's okay because it is your first map and I think it is a good idea to start small.

What it needs is more scenery, colliders and shading. Read some tutorials on how to succesfully include these which you'll find on sml.u13.com and in the mapping help section of these forums.

Remember to make sure there are no gaps between your polygons (I saw a few when playing) and that the corners of your polygons are either covered or joined perfectly. If you haven't already, switch to polyworks, it makes advoiding these problems much easier with its "snap to verticies" and "snap to grid" functions.

Alright, turn on wireframe in mapmaker and make sure all polygons overlap and cover any joins like this.

Since your new I guess you can be excused for this.

The main thing about any map is scenery, you have to have decoration.

The gameplay on this map would also be annoying becuase there are several places where blue can camp and just shoot or nade alpha team as they com up.

Give it more polygons (they'll give the map a better look).

And scenery.

It's inflirtation map, blue has to camp.

but the red need capture the flag and if they cant pass the gameplay suck...

Put some spikes or something there instead, the only deadly area that the player can touch is on the right side.

Simply having pink in the middle makes things a little confusing.
