You press the mouse button run, and use your sorcerer's stones to summon a warlock which can make your chainsaw explode on contact.
Jk. Don't use it all the time, instead of using it while running or camping with it, use your primary, then when an enemy comes, quickly switch to the chainsaw, you need to be good at generally alot of things to be able to use a saw powerfully, such as speed, agility, and accurate thoughts, without those, just pressing left button and going towards your enemy will be stupid and futile.

Well, if you actually bothered to read through the link I provided, you would've noticed that 90% of those tips can be applied to saw vs. [insert any weapon name here]. Even in saw vs. saw situations. Read it through, and try to take it in. You will learn a lot, I got into a top saw clan just after weeks I made that thread.

The guide Mr. Domino posted, though, is a bit outdated, and I've been trying to get myself to go back over it and revise it, but I'm just to lazy.  I wrote it in 1.3.1, though I hope you'll still find it helpful.

Make sure you're moving fast and as you approach your enemy(s) never keep your mouse stationary; you have to move it in order to get the easy kills, but only a little so you don't end up pointing your saw in a direction with no enemies. Going prone works well in many situations like coming off a poly, sawpermaning into enemy spawn, and using it to boost your long saw. Most of the "skill" in using saw is dependent on how you maneuver both on polys and in the air, your lag in relation to the server/other players, and how well you can do the slicing motion with your saw.
