Help - How to fix transparent polygons
« on: December 30, 2007, 05:42:16 pm »
I have a problem with some old racing maps where the polygons are invisible in game. When I open the map up with polyworks, this is what it looks like:

Toumaz said this has something to do with the new transparent polygons feature, where some older maps are saved as being completely transparent for some reason. How do I fix this?

You can't fix this unless you recompile the map with the right transparency set for all polygons.
I have something like 600 maps to sort because of this issue. Needless to say it will take a f****** while.

ctrl+a selects everything, if you turn off the display of scenery, then ctrl+a selects all polygons.
select all polygons.
in the properties window there is a box that says opacity: #%
change the # to 100 and you will have no transparent polygons.
compile and save.
