If you have 2 of the same controller, you don't need to install two drivers. Just the first.

Try reinstalling the drivers.

Norton causes more crap than is fixes (I don't remember it ever fixing anything when I had it anyway). It shut down MSN Messenger because someone sending me the message "Hi" was an attempted hack.

Heh yea, lots of anti-viruses are like that, My kaspersky once stopped and deleted a game executable while I was playing it because it tried to access the internet.

I have had a GREAT time with sophos. You have to pay for it, but its a one time fee good for life and it has caught everything that has ever tried to sneak on. Never any problems with blocking games or anything either. The only downside is that it requires ram of minimum around 512 cause any less than that and you'll find it hogging system resources, cause it's an on-access scanner, scanning files as they're executed.
