Specify Screenshot Save Location
« on: February 09, 2008, 08:16:43 pm »
I'm pretty sure that this suggestion isn't original, but I searched for it and didn't result in anything.

The thread title is pretty self explanatory, when you setup Soldat, in the "Other" tab, you can specify where to save you screenshots.

It really isn't much of a needed or must-have implementation, but I think it would be nice if you could choose the location.  I sometimes find it somewhat annoying that you have to go your Soldat folder and copy and paste the files to another location.  Where you can instead save it somewhere more convenient like in My Documents.

Comments, thoughts, ideas, or suggestion?

I really think it's too much trouble going into the current Soldat folder location to get the screens. It's just a few extra clicks. Although it would be helpful for those who oftenly need to post up war reports.

I F12 this idea. If it is implemented, you should also be able to choose what file type it is saved as, the current bmp files are holding up 4% of my memory....

Yeah, you should clear that out for more porn space.

I think it is a bit unneeded, considering you could make a shortcut to the folder and put that wherever your heart desires.
