A lucky save...
« on: February 21, 2008, 02:15:18 pm »
So I was deagle-whoring in GA the other day, with my trusty socom as a secondary. There was something like 8 player there, most were auto users, with the occasional M79 and knife.
I was taking the high route on B2b, deagles at the ready. Making my into the middle of the map, a camper pops up behind the bush that I had just started firing at (Training required me to do this with all bushes), he was carrying a Steyr, which most people know, is a rape-weapon against most semis. I plant two into his chest, while he uses controlled burst fie to keep me pinned. Desperate to stay alive, I do a daring switch to my socom, and click as frantically as I could. I manage to send him to the ground in a pile of bloody flesh, but I was in urgent need of a health kit and a reload.
I reload all my weapons, and head onwards in search of a medkit and the flag. By this time, the enemy had snuck low and pinched the flag, so I made my way to the enemy base, snatched a medkit, some grenades and planted the flag close to where I was camping. Without delay, the EFC comes dancing by, sees his flag a few inches away from where it should be, and decides to return it. I popped out from the bush I was hiding in, and sent 4 well aimed shots to his legs. Ironically, I killed him, and my flag fell right next to the other one. I managed to return our flag before a lucky Barrett shot tore me in half. Damn.

Seems like a moment everone else has, but I thought it was quiet fun :)
Just another soul to burn.

Nice description. I love the moments when the two flags are on the same spot, and literally everybody without a single shot starts running for it :D

Just a question: did you get the flag? And return it?
