Soldat / General discussion

We're currently talking about gathering of our users. Ofcourse we had gatherings before (mostly organised by nDp clan) and some of them were really success.

Few days ago our user KAMIZZ suggested some ideas to Soldat 1.5 and I think they were very good. It was later posted also in soldatforums due to MM is discriminating our forum.

Nequil, our redactor, found a sponsor for us (our old sponsor became greedy) and now, thanks to GamesNet and Nequil we have two public Soldat ctf servers. IPs are seo.gamesnet.pl:23075 and seo.gamesnet.pl:23076. Both are 8 slots and have some fancy scripts made by our programist rr- .

Our community is also making server scripts, for example, the latest scripts is
only TWO teams team match by Hydro,

Zaraza posted nice map DM Sunburst (actually he posted it, well, while ago but it's still available to download and rate).

Maniek- posted his pretty good interface modification (REG). Simple and nice, that's what it's all about .

User Mr. Bloody gave us his SoldierMaker, application for viewing and creating a gostek's skin. You can also view how jet looks like.

Oh man, how could I forget about it? We have great contest 'Pimp my map'. Like zaraza mentioned it's about pimpin' an old and ugly map. Go ahead! Give it a try!

Too bad you didn't mention about this new contest we have set up lately. It's about pimping an old noobish map. The hall of fame will be cleaned from dust and used again.

Soldat / General discussion

 Recently, we've had some problems with our forum, due to 'hacker' attack. Forum was unavailable for three (or two ) days but we're back online. Also, new forum is under construction, based on SimpleMachinesForum (like soldatforums) to avoid such incidents in future.

 Like you probably noticed we finally have a new domain SOLDAT.EU.COM thanks to engagement of our administration crew.

Someone really needs to talk to whoever owns sirdel.webd.pl to get them removed from Google's bad-people list.  Either their site has some bad code injected somewhere (like someone exploited the site such that it distributes malware or links to it or something) or this is a false positive, or there was a problem that has been fixed.

If the owner clicks on the "Why was this site blocked?" button, it will allow them to begin the process of investigating the reason and fixing it, and getting it unblocked.

I think anyone using a modern browser that checks with google and other malware-site registries will encounter something like this:

Maybe Ubuntu packages Firefox with this feature enabled.  Either way, anyone will get something from Google if they try to click on a sirdel.webd.pl result in a google search.   I showed that in another thread somewhere, but it looks like the people/person who owns sirdel.webd.pl hasn't tried to get it fixed.

For me it loads fine too (opera 9.23 win) but we are aware of the problem. This problem can be fixed only by owner of site (SirDel). Unfortunately he's got much work and not enough free time to take care of this now. Ofcourse we will try as much as we can to remove that block ASAP. Thanks FLAB.
