Every single weapon is "for noobs" anyway, so why bother arguing, just kick 'em for being retarded or some shizzle like that.

I find mp5 wonderfully and most reliably accurate when crouching ....granted a good player is more often moving most of the time, but taking a moment to pause for the horde of enemies incoming can be worthwhile with this old gun.

That and it can kill the fastest out of any auto when at close quarters... providing you aim instead of spray like a mad man.

It is however 'nooby' in that a new player can grab this gun and get a feel for the game with what is a well rounded and responsive weapon, more so than any other choice of weapon I'd personally say. Certainly not restricted to noobs though, and naturally (as with any gun) deadly when mastered.

Yeah, sure, the MP5 is awesome at close range, but I play with a bunch of Barreting douchebags (wait.. I Barret too.)  so the AK-74 is my auto weapon of choice. Just sayin'.   :)

In my opinion, the MP5 is easy to use, which is why it's mainly seen on newbs. But at any rate, it's mostly for close combat, becoming near useless against opponents more than 2/3 of a screen away. The MP5 can easily decimate 3-5 people in point blank.

Many noobs think every weapon is noobish after they get beaten by it.

Socom only overpowers at close range (most guns). Some guns like mp5 kill faster.

Mp5 is great if you're NOT a noob. It just takes skill and experience. It is a close range weapon though, but is very powerful. Good for small maps.

The mp5 is actually shit for spraying with, because of it's low range. You don't kill shit with that when spraying.

I find the MP5 to be balanced. Its achilles heel is the range and the fact that the bullets drop quickly, maining aiming harder. However, in intense matches and in close quarters area, it is good. In more open areas, AUG easily beats it out.
