Too Close for Comfort

It was a Elite Snipe and Slice CTF match and my team was flailing around trying to capture the flag of the red team within the last 30 seconds of the match (we were losing 0-1). One of my teammates got the flag from their base but got massacred by the array of sniper bullets. The enemy flag flew into the air and I caught it. The entire red team chased me and I was completely surrounded throughout the chase. I only carried a lone barret but each shot I made blasted the limbs of the incoming insurgents.

I wasn't even sure how I managed to get through. The red team was literally touching me but no one was able to kill me. I got shot two times in the run and I dodged incoming saws and knives. There was one moment where I got stuck on a wall for 5 seconds and the frantic craze just escalated. Two of my team mates helped me fend off some people (there was literally 6-7 reds on me), but I was bumping into the members of the opposite team making barret shots at point-blank range. The best example I can show of this was a scene in Exiled (skip forward to 6:30)

which was practically the same experience, but with barrets, knives and saws. Everyone was getting shot including me. Eventually I ran into a tunnel and got the score, tied the game.

That entire chase sequence happened under 20 seconds before the match ended. Everyone, especially the red team, was completely mesmerized at the feat I made.

I know just what you mean.....!! That's one of the reasons I love Snipe and Slice........... it takes some aim to kill an opponent besides gang-spraying. If you have good movement, you can avoid shots and make great escapes !

I actually had a similar experience yesterday, everyone just came after me when I got the flag !!
I was so afraid and ran away crying like a little girl..........

Btw I think Air Parshath was Blue Ninja, he was good, the top player from the Red Team. Always nice to see a player from Soldat Forums.

Also, look under clans and filter for the K/D ratio. You'll find a clan called Despa|.. somehow, my name turned into a clan. And I got two new members without even knowing it. WTFFFFFF.

On ctf_Harlequin, he grabbed the Red flag, then proceeded to escape by way of the middle route.

I didn't follow him in the same route. Instead, I went high, gained momentum, and jet-proned between the ground and the bridge (the gap), and actually caught up with him and popped his head off.

EDIT: The reason your name got turned into a clan is because the "|" in your name is one of the several special characters used to signify that you are in a clan.

Similarly enough, the |DK| in my original name is a fake clan, and still, turned into a clan.
