ctf_Kesha - BETA

I did this map (only the start), and after I looked it well, I noticed that the gameplay seems the same as in ctf_Maya2. Is it too much?


(those thin polys in the middle are only players collide, and spray blockers will be add in the upper route too)

Any other ideas are welcome, but the map is on it's first stages...

It is similar to ctf_Maya2, but I don't think it'll play the same.  If it is a large map, it has too many open spaces and creates many opportunities for spray.

The first suggestion I can tell you is too add more color to this map.  Its empty and dark.  If you want to keep it at this tone, then somehow use a lighter color of dark, use scenery amount like in inf_Outpost.  As for the gameplay, I suggest you re-level each of the top platforms, so each one is at a different level, like in ctf_Lanyuba (I think that's how you spell it).  This will make the route safer, yet harder to travel through and will make players take the other routes.  Like in ctf_Run, you'd take the lower route to be safe, but it'll take a while to move to the other-side, this is the same idea.  Adjust the lower route and make it in a snake-shape, like the lower route in ctf_Lanyuba when near your base.  This is probably my personal preference, but I would stretch the spawn point area wider.

Yea it's too much like Maya2. Of course this is still beta, imo you should connect the top two middle poly's.

The name is awesome cause it's almost like Kagesha :P

other then that it's a decent map

despite the scenerys, and the 3 top spray blockers, I think the map will be pretty much like this.
And I'll add some color variance too
