I used Gimp to resize the original image and save it as a jpeg with 100% quality, btw.

Gimp isn't compatible with my stubborn Vista for some reason, and I had to revert to Paint.net, is that bad? :-\

No, there is no Anti Aliase. It's being scripted as a plugin currently though. Gaussian blur is the closest thing to AA, I used PDN and made it from scratch.

I use Paint.NET, and find it great :D you can antialias stuff using an alpha mask though, and you get good results.

If you have the .pdn version of your sig with all the layers I can fix it up for you, and you can go to the Paint.NET forums and find the Alphamask plugin in the plugins section (funnily enough)
