I havne't played a whole lot of commercial games, but since the very beginning, its adverts in PC Gamer just screamed out "REALLY CRAPPY" at me.

No sir. Last I heard Jericho the TV show was about a small town dealing with the typical post-apocalyptic issues. Clive Barker's Jericho is an awful excuse of a video game that involves a recon squad sent to destroy monsters or whatever the bollocksty storyline is.

EDIT: Also, buying The Orange Box is always a good option in any video game purchase doubts you have or maybe researching THE FUCKING GAME YOURSELF instead of coming to another game's forum to ask about it. Is it to much to ask?

Maybe he'd like to get ACTUAL people's opinions on it? People he knows have at least some things in common with his game preferences because they're on a forum for another game he likes?
