It's actualy very good IMO. But as I said before, it's like Cortex Command- nice game, but damn bollocksy controls. It's like the developer(s) were so focused on making a great game that they forgot that we moved out of the DOS era, and now people USE COMPUTER MICE!!
Agreed. The core mechanics of the game are solid, the controls are the only problem. Still a pity it's d*mn near impossible to play.
To sum up my point: We had a multipage debate about toilet padding. (Putting TP in the water so you don't get splashed.)
And we still don't know if dead guys can keep a stiffy.

There is a mod created where you use WASD and the mouse. I like this mod. It's called Space Marines mod 2.1

Anyway, as I said, it's not bad, but it lacks a few game aspects I would have liked to have seen.

I tried it ages ago... and I thought it was complete rubbish. Soldat is much better.

I got stick soldiers 1 of some 50 games dvd, then I found out about SS2, so I got that, then one day when I went on the forums to see if any new news had arisen about SS3 I saw someone say something along the lines of 'it should have mouse control like SOLDAT' and so that is how I found soldat, and at one point I really likes SS1 and SS2
