The bots "warp"

Hi. attached is a lil' preview of my single player mode :D

So anyways - as you can see the bots are supposed to come back right after being killed. Well - they come back... but they don't always move.

They just stay in one place - warping. You see them take a leap forward - and then they just warp right back.

Some details:

The bots are placed there via script. There is NO spawn point there.
The waypoints are set to make them walk left. The waypoints work. When they manage to get out of there little warp-y hole they walk all the way.

Sounds like the bots are hacking to me.... Dang bots these days.

I've had issues with scripts and bots warping in the past. Can you post the actual script here?

Ok. Well I modified the original map a bit and now it turns out even if I do /addbot ... they still do the warp thing.

I'm beginning to think it's because I have survival turned on.

Ok survival is not the problem either.

Re-make the map (just that section), im pretty sure it is a poly bug

no i dont know how it can be. I have remade the map once already

and i've tried different things - such as making the poly slanted - making it dip down

ive also tried spawning the bots a little bit above the ground

I have seen this before when playing single player, but It stops when the map changes, then changes back, or on restart.
I know what you mean, but don't know how to fix it.

well the bots get kicked after each round.

Anyways I kinda found a way around it. I have it so a dummy bot spawns literally on top of them. there's like an 80% chance they'll bite =P

Can you spawn them somewhere else?
tried other types of polygon? (regen, ice, only player collides etc.)
Maybe redo that part so that they slide down a hill?

Oh yeah, I haven't seen the map, soldat is on my other comp, upload a screenshot of the problem area.

Sure. The blue dots represent where I have tried spawning the bots.

-EDIT-
Failed:
1) Using bot as bait (Even with 3 dummy bots right on top of them - they occasionally don't react)
2) Spawning Grenades and M79s to boost them (they warp right back)
3) Putting them in different spots (....)
4) Using slanted polys
5) Using ice polys
6) Sliding down a hill (the bots slide down - but as soon as they hit normal ground - they start warping again... even if they jump out a few meters)

Have you tried making the map from scratch again, some people reckon compiling too much causes problems
