CTF_RCE_Insane (1t & 2t)
« on: July 23, 2006, 02:58:12 am »
This is for poop with his soon-to-be race tornament.

There are two versions of the map included in the zip. These are "ctf_rce_Insane_1t" and "ctf_rce_Insane_2t" ("1t" and "2t" standing for "1 team" and "2 teams").

1t can be played with either 1 or 2 teams, sharing the one track, while 2t is purely for 2 teams, each team on a seperate track to the same flags.

It would probably be too laggy to play with a large number of people on 2t as it has almost 3000 polygons (only 9 scenery) so if you want some lag-free fun, play version 1t.

Both maps take around 3 minutes to complete and there are no deadly polygons or areas where you can fall behind dramatically.

Here are the screens (download is an attachment):

It's too much of a maze in my opinion.
I appreciate the work you've put in on it, though; you have every right to be happy about it.

Ahh... this makes me want to start playing race maps all over again, well done, Kamikaze Duck!

Kind of off-topic: Does anyone have the old rce_mappack? Because I really want to play those again.

;D Thats one huge map! looks like it took up alot of your time. I was also wondering if there is any difference between race maps and climb maps?

Very nice, but does anyone realize this is in the wrong forum?  It should be under the ctf/inf maps section.

No, it's in the right forum, as it's a sub-gamemode, not ctf.

Very nice race maps, altough they seem rather big at first. And I don't know how to tell you, but the race tournament has already been done, months ago ;<

Nevermind, I shouldn't write posts when I'm hung over :<
