ps2 Internet Connection

basically, we just got a wireless router, so im trying to figure out the best way for a permanent connection. since my ps2 is usually in my room, away from the router, whats the best/most inexpensive way to get it online?

Nah dude, psp is fading as well.  By 2009 they will stop making games for psp and start making ps3 games.

Don't use wireless... get it wired. I have wireless and its actually working fine for my browser but my games lag. I really do hate it. Just buy a really long cord or drill an easily patched hole... that is what I am thinking of doing.

u really don't even need a router i don't use one and my connection for 360 is perfect.

You have to have a router to get your 360 and other computers online at the same time

Maybe he doesn't get on at the same time.  Maybe he takes the jack out of his computer, and puts it in his 360, so he has online through his modem.

So how would that work? Phone cord to router then Ethernet to ps2? Would I need to set it up with a laptop?

use the top diagram.

all cords are ethernet, except those specified. oh, and the cord from the modem to intarweb is a coaxial cable, but that's unnecessary.
