Don't be thick. Knives can already be thrown by releasing the throw-button, excr.

Someone made a suggestion to the Barrett to make it shoot only after the shoot button was released. So if you kept holding down the shoot button, the Barrett wouldn't shoot ; it'd only shoot after it was released.

tehsnipah then said that he wouldn't mind if that were implemented to the knife. In other words, the knife could be held down, ready to throw, and would only throw after the throw button was released. Unlike the current Knife, which can be released earlier at a lower bullet speed, but once it reaches the maximum, it will automatically throw already. That was what excruciator was thinking about when he said the knife was overpowered with a quote from tehsnipah's post.

i liked back in the older versions where you didn't have to hold the trigger. barrett was alot more used then. I think what they did with it kinda makes sense. we should just leave it where its at.

Every version up to 1.2.1

I think the delay should be removed, but it should be nerfed in another way. I can't think of a good way ATM.

I played ages ago (a couple of years), I quit (I still can't understand why I did that); anyway back then the Barrett had no startup and it WAS way too strong.  I think delay is OK and that plus the bink makes it quite balanced.

let go of your movement keys, 4-y, and you should be able to hit where you aim. Now stop acting your age by complaining in every topic.

Not true, if you're falling or something, you're affected as well. But what I've seen is people know about this movementacc, and they aim the Barret in such a way that it STILL hits while in midair. The weapon just takes more skill now if you wanna move and fire with it, otherwise it's a sniper. A CAMPING weapon... not a run-headlong-into-enemy-territory weapon. The one shot kills means you need skills.
