BUT ANYWAY i don't even know why i'm bothering with this flash animation... sure its for tafe [university for poor people] but i don't get marked or paid for it, it's entering a competition to be used by epod, a company that specialises in safety videos [they get most of their content from these annual competitions- figures] and heres the thing: we're in work groups and my work group i can tell you right now has done jack shit compared to me... i did the models and this and that and stayed in the background...i've helped them out with flash [flash is what i have the best understanding of in this course] and i haven't forced them to do anything at all
i was sort of hoping they'd get off their asses and do the hard yards but nyet, my 30 seconds of flash will be all a group of 4 people has to show!
the thing that has me is while i do the work, other people in the class shit on me in everything, yet i'm one of the only people in the whole class that hands in work on time
one guy who is a dick and snaps his fingers alot came over to me the other day and told me all the stuff i'd done in flash was shit and his would be the standard of the whole class... come assessment day my shitty animation about skating as on time and the other guy didn't show his till the next week [we had 2 weeks to make a 2 minute animation] he pretended that he forgot his animation at home and got another weekend to work on it without losing any marks at all... jokes on him though, it corrupted itself halfway through his presentation
as well as that, we were learning how to use 3dsmax and after 6 weeks, make a 3 minute movie showing everything that we had learned in that time. assessment was last tuesday: guess how many people handed in their animations out of a class of 15!

i'm still trying to figure out how they wasted SIX WEEKS DOING NOTHING
they won't even fail which is pissing me off... they get another week to resubmit
what i don't understand is all weekend they're at home flogging it to anime and playing their ps3s and whatnot while yours truly gets out when he can [my ankles got me stuck at home alot for another month or 2]... i come to class hungover and coming down alot and i've only missed 2 days at the most this whole year WHILE THEY MISS DAYS AND DAYS AND DAYS
i really had nowhere to go with this from the start, it's the biggest mess of text i've made in a while
