Ignore User

In your account, if you enable 56k version or something then all avatars and signature images are disabled. Maybe even pictures in the topic can be disabled too.

Ignore User
You don't see any of that user's posts. Maybe you see they posted but the message is just "user ignored"
Add some little button that will display the message of the ignored user if you feel like reading it.

I don't see a point in having an ignore feature to completely block of someone's message when you can simply skip through their message.

If this had been a long post, I would feel robbed of my precious time. I was gonna agree with Geo, but now I kinda would like to see an ignore button.

There are users here that allways make useless posts no matter what the topic is and a ignore feature would help me a lot.

Yes, so the members that might give a bad first impression gets ignored by the whole forums, when he might be steadily increasing the quality of his posts over time.

This is only about you disliking one or two certain members after all. Find some other way to deal with it.

Other people might be more trigger happy with the ignore button than you.

Grow some maturity and learn how to ignore inflammatory comments.  Adding a feature like this would do more harm than good, I'm sure you can imagine the situations where this causes problems.
