Maxfps command
« on: June 18, 2008, 03:53:37 pm »
People that own good machines will understand that one.
If you've got a good computer and you switch the v sync off, the fps will start shrinking from 100 to 400 fps, making the game look crappy and lame.(The game is smoother with vsync on and 60 fps than with 100 - 400 fps)
So, I though that our lovely dev team could get a command that limits the fps into the awaited 1.5 .

Try turning v. sync on.

I've got it on, still I would like to have more FPS than 60.
The game isn't as smooth as I would like it to be with v sync on.

Well I also have vsync on but I get around ~100 fps so maybe it depends on the machine? Also I'll say F12 for the moment but I think this isn't really important..

EDIT: Whoops looking at the wrong game settings ::) with vsync on i get 60 fps also...

And as the lyrics go in the United State's national anthem: "America, f**k YEAH!".

It depends on the monitor.
If you've got 100Hz lcd, then I feel sorry for your eyes.
