MEDIA PLAYER..ERR SOLDAT RESIZE

thought about posting this in the general tread, but decided to go the safe route


ok, I know there are much better programs to run music and such in the background when running full screen games (so dont try to act all leet and tell me what i should be running instead), but rlly all I am looking to do is skip to the next track while playing soldat, so I dont need one of the programs mentioned above....I know that ctrl-f skips forward to the next song when u have media player as ur target program. but is there a command that does this when its in the background??

bump that... for some reason even after 3 years of playing i didnt know u didnt have to play in full screen

so now i just want to know if u can change the size of the soldat window

Getting registered and using the built-in MP3 player is really the only way because soldat takes over most of your coputer controls.  Have you tried this with other programs?  try setting one to "always on top" and keep it close to the soldat menu (assuming windowed mode).  Alt+tab to get out of soldat mode to skip track really quickly and click soldat back up to resume playing quickly.  I dont really use hotkeys so I wouldnt know.

Yeah you go into setup and change the window re-size to change the size, the soldat icon in top right corner can be used to drag the screen around when in menu (not in-game)

lol hair i realized my fail right after becuz i went to a soldat moments thread and was like wtf his soldat isnt in full screen *goes to check soldat setup*....*slaps self in face*

I used to have an awesome keyboard with special media buttons along the top (previous track, play, pause, next track, open browser, etc...) I loved that keyboard...

I hate playing games in a window, I find everything outside of the game screen distracting. So I play games in fullscreen and play music on Winamp because you can set hotkeys for it.

I got media keys on my laptop but they dont work..  they never did work.. out of the box like that

But I'd probably never use them anyway.  got 3 media keyboards that I never touched the buttons once :/
