Ahh, if only that were the point of this topic.

Speaking points, let's that back to it.  Enjoying scents.

Have any specific scents that you enjoy?

Many, actually.

Fresh cut grass, for starters.  If I had a lawn to mow, I'd mow it often.

Food on the grill, specifically meat.  If I could have a grill, I'd burn stuff.

Nag Champa, sandlewood, frankincense, and other varieties of incense.  Haven't burned them in a while though.

No particular colognes come to mind, unfortunately.  But I do enjoy the scents of good cigars, good being the key word.  Vanilla has always been a good scent in this department, but that might apply more to pipes and the like.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams it is
still a beautiful world.  Strive to be happy.

Was just about to say grass and the nag actually. I honestly love the smell of burning wood. Also hay mixed with the slight stench of animal dung always reminds me of my house, especially around wintertime.

You'd like vetiver than, well maybe. Atleast, certain vetiver colognes.

I've got a few frakincense/myrrh colognes and a few other incense. Likewise, these are my favorite of scents.

Woods come in second, especially sandalwood scents. I'll be picking up a few in a trip soon.

Cigar wise I just like a nice maduro.

I forgot wood (well, except sandlewood).  Campfires always smell good to me for some reason.  Except when I'm sitting downwind and I get a bunch of smoke and ash in my face...but the rest of the time, it's all good.

I'll keep the vetiver in mind.  Thanks for the recommendation!

And I'm a bit short on both hay and dung to get a real feel for that one..

Well, if you just get pure vetiver oil, its very earthy scent. Its grassy side usually comes out better in fragrance, specifically brighter ones that go along with this. Its also a very opinionated scent as well.

EDIT: Scents I prefer, as I said. I have a soft spot for incense, especially those usually related to christianity and cathedrals. Woods, especially sandalwood and oudh. I mostly prefer orientals, some spice. I enjoy rose as well, so long as its well made and paired with deeper notes.
