Fading Scenery into eachother using PS

There are 4 Multi-Texturing tutorials.thej all say thej edited the texture in photoshop. but nobody tells how...

i wanna know how i can make 2 textures fade in to eachother so thej are seamless.

i tried several things blur and etc i could not find it.

Im working with Photoshop
I don't understand
do you mean that there is a /faceplam commmand ?
and this command should drop a random item ?

Or in PS: Tex1 -> new layer -> paste Tex2 -> add layer mask -> gradient fill on layer mask.

Or use an eraser with low opacy and start brushing the layer above the other one.
