Whenever something looks like it might take a while to load, I subconsciously imagine murdering my ISP with a rusty fork, then promptly forget that thought and hit ESC then F5. Page then loads like normal. Problem solved.

Yeah...

I've never had any problems with stuff loading on these forums. Usually load times are for me under .5 seconds at worst.

Wouldn't it be better to take a look at the avatar/sigs that are causing it and try to prevent it from happening again? If you just remove them, the same thing will just happen again eventually.

Well, this just started happening to me a day ago. I don't have many Firefox extensions and haven't touched any of its settings. I'm on Firefox 3.0.1 on 32 bit Ubuntu 8.04.

Any ideas?

I get the same problem, this topic took 60. 688 seconds to load with 25 queries. This has never happened to me before today.

Also, sorry for making another topic, my bad. You can delete it.(Id ask for it to be locked, but it takes so damn long to load :|)
