Having a few problems with Soldat in general...
« on: August 15, 2008, 10:16:12 pm »
First of all, everytime I click my mouse to use boosters / fire weapon, there is a chance that either of them may stick on. (Completely kills accuracy while flying.)

Second, while playing Soldat I have had it randomly freeze, completely. I am unable to use my mouse while it is frozen and must Ctrl+Alt+Del to shut off Soldat.

Third, I now have a problem where i am unable to join games. When I try to connect to a server, it attempts to download a texture, and then completely stops. This has been occuring ever since I copied my soldat files for my second computer to use. (Did not add or remove anything from the files on this computer, just copy-paste.)

Help on any of these issues would be nice.

I don't know what's happening with the toher things on your list, but I'm sure that Soldat uses registeries, which are stored in your System32 folder, the only way to safely put soldat onto another computer is to copy/download the installer, and then run it. I've tried running a soldat Copy and paste before, I had numerous problems involving errors and lobby servers not connecting.

Soldat was fully installed on both computers and both clients have been working fine until now. This is the 3rd time I have updated my second computer's files with this computer and it is the only time it has caused this type of error.
