What is RO?
RO (Ragnarok Online) is a Korean-made MMO created by the Gravity Corporation. Since its creation, they've released over 13 expansions (dubbed "episodes") which have expanded upon the game world.
A long time ago, I hosted my own Ragnarok server for forumers to sign up and play on. Unfortunately I moved, and I never got around to setting it back up. Instead, I've done some looking and I've found ArchonRO to be a pleasant experience that is faithful to the official servers in both look and feel. I'm inviting the forumers in general to give ArchonRO a try, hang out, take part in some guild wars and generally waste time.
What is ArchonRO?
ArchonRO is a private Ragnarok Online server which boasts low-rates and a small player base. I've yet to see them suffer any down time and I've yet to hit any lag.

1. Download the entire, pre-patched client in 13 parts (fastest).

http://www.download.com/WinRAR/3000-2250_4....html?tag=lst-1Now then, to open the .parts, you need to select one of them and extract files to your new folder, it might create a new one, but it's probably safer to just have your folder available anyway.
No installation is necessary, it's just the entire folder already installed and updated and whatnot.
2. Download the entire un-patched client in 1 part (fast, but requires a lot of patching and you must wait for the autopatcher to finish patching to play).

Let sakray finish patching, then exit it and start Archon.exe
Once that's done patching, press play.
3. Download an unpatched, unconverted client, convert it and patch it (by far the most complicated and difficult).
Download the latest Sakray installer
here. They have enough mirrors that you should be able to find one that works and is luxuriously fast.
Install to the default directory or the directory of your choice.
Download
ArchonRO Converter V2.
Install the Converter to the same directory you installed Sakray.
Patch Sakray with Sakray.exe. If you get the March 2008 Sakray release you won't have very many patches to download.
Run Archon.exe to patch ArchonRO's custom files.
Play!
