Screen Freezing
« on: July 22, 2008, 10:19:36 pm »
Constantly while I'm playing soldat the screen freezes but the sound dosent even lag and I can still move and shoot. The only way to unfreeze it is minimize the game and maximize it again, after doing that at the top it says "graphics reinitialisation" and works for a while. I have tried changing the refresh rate, resolution, graphics quality, bitrate ,and some other stuff and it doesent help. I'm using a Vista laptop with a Nvidia Gforce GO 7600. Does anyone know how to stop the freezing????

Did you try to turn ON Video Compatibility?

Come on this really sucks. BUMP
I have tried the FAQ solution with no luck, iv tried messing around with every setting there is but it always happens. It happens just as frequently when I am alone on screen without any bullets or particles as when there 15 zombies with blood covering 20% of the screen. I have a very high end gaming comp so its defently not that my pc cant handle it soooo any ideas???

Well, Vista is your first problem. Vista seems to cause random and usually unrelated problems with Soldat. A common treatment for Soldat on Vista is to make Soldat run as an administrator, but I highly doubt this will solve your problem.

Just one thing: Are you running fullscreen or windowed? Have you tried the other option?
