Mute By Wildcard or Menu (Already Solved)

A personal peeve of mine is when players with rediculous user names log in and start spouting obnoxious and/or racist crap into a chat channel.

It's all fun and games until you try to /mute them, which requires you to somehow memorize their handle and type it in *exactly* in order to mute them.

It would be nice to have this re-coded to accept wildcards like so:

Code: [Select]
/mute *L 3 3 t*

... or just added as a first-class menu option much like kicking a user or changing the map.  Either would help prevent users from hiding behind their nicknames when acting like complete twats.

Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake.  Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big old storm right in the eye and says, "Give me your best shot. I can take it."

If you press F1 and use the cmd /mute it will display numbers in front of every player that you can use instead of typing the name.

OBEY!!!

Thanks for letting me know.  I honestly had no idea you could do that.

Mods, please lock this thread - I think we're done here.
