Well I dont think its much of a good idea.  besides it could be scripted.


using this system would mean you have to camp in order to heal.  camping is not a good thing in soldat since its fast-paced.  Maybe TTW or something could script it (you heal if you camp in a safe location for a while when at low health)

maybe it could be that you cannot fire your weapons in order to heal, and the heal has a delay of T after last shot was fired to begin healing process. T would have to be long enough to compensate for snipers who will be in prime condition to heal like this. Or maybe make it heal only if fists are current weapon.

How about a helath pack that, when picked up, starts to recharge your health , and if you get shot during that time, it stops recharging.

Bit like halo, but with a sheild regenorator you have to pick up.

IIRC, the same idea was around during 1.4. From what I remember it didn't live up to the expectation so it was dropped. Medikit cooldown has been dropped as well, as far as I'm aware.

I just mean making them take just a few seconds to work, so effectively its just like it is now but removes the ability to get instantly healed in a fight.

I have never liked this on any game. It turns a fast action killfest into hiding behind rocks shooting potshots with the sniper rifle. F11.

in my opinion movin from one medikit to another
or waitin for 1%hp left and (its time!) take a medikit
or shot down whole opposing team using socom(or any other weapon lol) while running around medikits' spawn place - thats all names

The health system is useful in fps games. But Soldat is 2d so it'll wreck the fast paced game. To make my words simpler, Soldat would suck if you have this type of health system.

gonna have to thumbs down this idea man. Why? because i think health pax are a vital part to soldat. I frequently have people dive into the health spawn and munch every pack available. Now while they are concentrating on munching the health thats when you should blast them with some nades.


Yeah it sucks when someone dives on the health when your both weak but if he got there first that makes him the better player. Kill him on your next spawn or whatever. But soldat without health packs just doesnt do it for me.
