Can you post a bigger overveiw since there's no download link?

Gameplay

- There may be too many routes
- The poly's could be too thin
- The turret might be in a bad area, maybe top route? (I'm not sure on this one)

Scenery/Graphics

- Could do with better shading
- The map looks a bit empty (possibly wrong becuase haven't played the map yet)

If you post a download link we could give you more in depth information :)

ok...because i'm too lazy, i'm gonna make you visualize this.

-that short little route, second to top, in the middles, right underneath the middle island of the top route, was merged with that other island to make one big mass.
- the "supports" that keep those hut covers suspended in air ar now no contact- walk and shoot right through them! this is good, because it smoothes out the routes of the big boulders with the medpacks right next to the huts.
-more color-YAY!
-turret stays for now, until testing is done.
-all other polys stay in width for now, until testing is done.
-invisible top added.
-jet fuel extended-you can now reach the flag ledges from the bottom-most route.
-shading stays as is, until i get better at it ;)

One hint. Try keep map simple. Too many routes ---> less fun.

Make more spacious that center area, u got a lot of thin polygons. Get rid some of them. Changes of tunnels and spacious areas makes gaming a lot more interesting.

You need a roof, I think your goal isn't that player can fly over the map by boosting m79?

Medic placing seems to be fine.

Make a bigger overall pic next time. There's now a lot of information in small picture.

I know reading tutorials are boring. And u aren't in that point u aren't getting anything from them. If I could have bigger picture I could show u some things that could be done better.

introducing...the new and VERY much improved...ctf_Hillside!

in all honesty though, this game plays like a charm.

one thing though- i really am still a beginner, so please don't laugh-how do you get the bridge and wood planks in your map? i looked everywhere in scenery for wooden planks, and i know that the bridge is much more than just scenery. so how do you get them in you game? because i want to brige those two small islands, and "plank" the tunnels for "support".

"supports sceneries" are:

col1
col2
col3
col4
col5
col6

(different types of supports)

And if you want some well made bridges (at least i think so of my ones) you can PM me, so i'd give you a prefabricated bridge, but it is better that you try before.

I'd make the lower part much thicker, the map looks like a floating scenario, if you don't want that, just do what I said.

huh. i have no idea what "col" is. i don't think it's part of polyworks.

anyway, a strange happening: i went out of polyworks for a second, and everything was normal, of course. but when i came back in, all the texture was gone. everything was just blank. my texture pallate was still set to "vtt27", and i tried refreshing and fixing the texture. but it never came back. so i saved it as a duplitcate, and when i played it, all the texture was still there. it doesn't really bother me, but know i can't just open PW to see the entire map, i actually have to play it to see the texture.

any idea how to fix this? i mean, it really isn't urgent, but still...
