Resolution!

Dear Soldat Users,
I just got registered in soldat and I wanted to change the resolution to 1024x768 But when I do this and load Soldat it all goes up in the top left corner. Can anyone help me here.

Your Monitor might not be large enough to be support it, check the specs.

No my monitor is large enough to be supported. its a 17 inch LG lcd monitor... When I just change the resolution to 1024x768 soldat goes in that mode just not in the middle. Goes in the top left corner!

No I havn't tried that but now I'll do it brb.
Back umm I tried all the troubleshooting options and none have an effect.
Is really bothering me because even in game and I hit Esc to go back to the main lobby when I move my cursor up in the top corner the whole camera shot in game moves in it too. This is how I know its not normal.

Lol, it's not bug or nothing. It's meant to be so! You can't do there nothing. That's why I am using default resolution.

Are you sure its not a bug and its ment to do that?
Its pretty stupid then I think...
I hope its solved in the new version of soldat and make it look professional.

I didn't think about turning full screen off.
I like it though but very hard to play :(

Turn off to windowed mode and try if the windowed resize option works.

Resize option doesnt work in window mode...
Ill just learn to play in windowed mode for now on anyway.
Looks way better than full screen just harder to play.
Anyone know a decent desktop wall paper that will look good with Soldat because mines just a white background at the moment and I find it playing soldat with white...

I tried, the in windowed mode resize (100%) should work. It will not work for the menu but when joining a game it resizes to your window(though not if you have widescreen. Then it will only cover the normal resolution area leaving some places where you'll see the desktop.)

Out of Curiousity Todd, what's your MOnitors Native Resolution? Cause my 17" Acer LCD has a native res of 1280x1024, and when I tried fullscreen with that res it was fine.
