S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky
« on: November 06, 2008, 11:10:25 pm »
Anybody else have/played this game?  My friend has borrowed it to me and I must say it's fricking AMAZING.  Diablo 2, CoD4, Resident Evil and Command and Conquer all rolled into one essentially equals this game and it is done BEAUTIFULLY.  You would think cross genre-ing several times would feck up it's fun, but it only enhances it and makes it one of the deepest Single Players games I have ever played.  Actually scratch that, it IS the deepest single player FPS I have ever played!  :D

I could write an essay on why this game is awesome, but I won't...  As I am lazy.

So, anyone else played this?

i play stalker shadow of chernobyl and i love it, only downside is that playinng it over and over is boring (same storyline etc..) only difference are the ending movies sometimes.
can't wait till i get ClearSky tho, but i need a new graphix card.. (i want to run it on high with easy, now i can get inbetween normal/max in SOC)

I own it. I really love it

Singleplayer is long and great. I really love how they combined the action and those mutants.
There is another interesting fact, the mods are really nice. There are some that you can add cars, or spawn things.

I think that in Shadow of chernobyl there appeared more artifacts, there is a bit harder to find them.
Also it was faster in SoC (the fights and so)

Now I would liek to finnish it and wait for Oblivion lost, so I can play a faction war after finnshing it.

From what I've experienced is 99% correct if not over-harsh, so this is my contribution.

Great game. As expected it crashed several times like in that vid above ^^
However, It's an amazing game but the ending is shit. SoC had multiple endings but here you get a sucky one.

OBEY!!!
