ctf_Wraithlike - Suggestions?

As you can probably already tell by the name, I've dedicated this map to Wraithlike since he's been doing well lately with his latest maps and I consider him the best mapper active.

I tried to do some free-form styles, similar to CTF_X and CTF_Tae.  It's not large enough for spray or sniping, yet it isn't small enough for cheap spawning.  Flows pretty smoothly and I did some route balances.

why there is such a huge space in the middle, open to snipers? Didn't you say this map isn't for snipers? Also, where's the blue flag?

Looks that it's easy to block both top and bottom route. Suggestion: http://i36.tinypic.com/b8wnjk.png

Red line is deadly polys, I forgot line the left and right side of roof, I meant they are also deadly.

Making a map as a tribute to someone who you call greater than yourself when it comes to mapping is not a good idea. Its like a child cooking for his/ her parents and not doing well. They still will say "Awwwww, this is so delicious!" and throw it up later but they wouldnt do it if it wasnt their kid. So: are you Wraithlikes child?

the size (or lack thereof) of the lower routes on the map (the only two routes in the original pic I mean) cause serious gameplay constraints. They are small enough that they could be easily sprayed and blocked. I'd strongly suggest taking SuoW's suggestion, but also increase the distance between the middle blob and the roof in the middle. After this I'd add something similar to DropDown2's spray blocker thing.

Could be a good map with a bit of work.

This comment doesnt really help him making the map better dont you think?

Anyway it looks like it could be some nasty spawnkilling if you throw nades at the spawns otherwise I like the colours but it feels like its really small in some way maybe open it abit

Aha, haven't you post an idea familiar to this before? It was more desert themed if I remember correctly..

A suggestion to El_Spec: I haven't looked at it in-game (sue me), but from the overview it looks like you have waay too many colors going on there. Pick a color scheme that you think works well with the projected mood of the map and stick too it.
Other than that it's looking pretty sweeeeet.
