How do you create a 'user interface'?
« on: December 03, 2008, 11:19:14 pm »
I'd like to know this. Not necessarily how to replace weapons (which is the only thing people are explaining to each other in here), but how to replace the health bars, etc.

Could someone explain? Or is it the exact same process as replacing weapons? I'm a total modding newb.

Thanks for putting up with me.

Similar process, have a look in your Soldat/Interface-gfx folder.

You have a folder called Interface-gfx . In here you have all the graphics for your standard interface.

If you are a registered user, you can use and add to the interfaces in Custom-Interfaces. For each interface there is a setup.SIF file. This is the data that tells Soldat how to display the interface. To create this file, download Soldat Interface Maker, setup your interface and compile it.
